Engineered for a long service life, the “B” model turn coordinator features a proven AC rotor powered by a solid-state inverter, creating less heat behind the panel. Utilizing a brushless rotor design, this instrument has top industry ratings of 4,800 hours MTBF. It is ideal for use in high performance aircraft and cold-climate applications. This specific unit has 4,500 hours MTBF, and a brushless AC rotor that operates on 10–32 Volts DC. The improved “Off” warning flag now pulls out of view when the rotor is up to speed.

All 3-inch turn coordinators operate from 10–32 volts DC for convenience and reliability.
