Avidyne's IFD540 FMS/GPS/NAV/COM takes the best Flight Management System available adds a multi-channel digital VHF radio and puts it all together in an easy-to-use plug & play design. Easy-to-use touchscreen interface with knobs and buttons including WiFi/Bluetooth® capabilities.
Plug & Play Replacements
The Avidyne IFD540 is truly a plug & play replacement for Garmin's GNS530 and GNS530W. The IFD540 will use the existing tray and connectors and is compatible with all popular interface configurations. This plug & play ease of use can greatly minimize installation cost.

Avidyne's IFD540 truly represents the Next Generation of FMS/GPS/NAV/COM systems. The IFD540 provides VHF communication and SBAS/LPV precision navigation. It was designed to meet both the accuracy and integrity requirement for ADS-B. Due to its plug & play design, the IFD540, is a replacement for legacy systems and shares the same basic functionality in large and compact display formats.

Hybrid Touch: Knobs & Buttons or Touch Screen
The IFD540 Page & Tab UI provides plainly-labeled tabs, bi-direction keys, and on-screen, touch-sensitive labels making it much easier to access the information you want. Avidyne's UI helps to avoid the notion of home pages, nested menus, unfamiliar icons and magic handshakes.
