BendixKing KX 200 NAV/COMM Radio

Meet the Next-Generation BendixKing KX 200 NAV/COM Radio

General aviation’s newest and most advanced NAV/COM radio is pilot-friendly by design and an easy direct replacement for the KX 155/165. That’s because pilots were consulted at every phase of the development process that started with a blank CAD screen and ended with the creation of a groundbreaking new radio for the 2020s and beyond.

Upgrading to the KX 200 Is Easier Than Ever

Moving up to the KX 200 couldn’t be easier, since it’s a direct replacement for your current KX 155, 165 and can substitute other radios using the same tray and connector. That also means the KX 200 is compatible with existing equipment, which reduces both cost and aircraft downtime during the conversion.

Questions & Answers

See below for answers to our most popular questions.

Have a Question?

  • Is the KX200 unit voltage specific or compatible with both 14v and 28 voltages?

The KX200 is a multi voltage unit. The adapter that comes with the unit and is required to make it the "Slide In Replacement" is voltage specific.

  • Can this monitor the standby freq?

Yes. One of the buttons on the face of the unit is "MON" and you push that to monitor the standby freq.

  • Can the KX200 replace the KX170 or KX175 radio?

No, the KX200 is strictly a KX155/165 replacement.
