Can I add a SkySensor wingtip ADS-B in to this combination and get traffic and weather on an iPad running Foreflight or Garmin Pilot plus traffic on the AV-30?
Hello and thank you for your inquiry.
Key to the connectivity is going to be the AV-LINK PMA, P/N: UAX-90090-01, current price $299.00.
With this addition, not only will your ADS-B Out through the tailBeaconX TSO contain the WAAS GPS and Transponder depictions on the AV-30C, you will also have connectivity to any GDL 90 Protocol compatible (iPad) program, ie. Foreflight, Garmin Pilot etc.
Skysensor would then, of course, complete your depiction with ADS-B In for traffic and weather, both on the AV-30 and through your iPad App.
Currently Skysensor is does not support Android.
